well here are a few remedies that will help you ........
i too suffered from this problem after my pregnancy ........after trying a lot of things these definitely worked .......
1. WATER AND LIQUIDS : yes water does work miracles, but, how you have it ,makes the difference . Have a glass of water one hour before your meal and try not having any liquids with your food . have water or liquids after atleast half an hour gap of having your meal .
warm , green tea , kehwaa, lemon honey in hot water works wonders .
2. RAW FOOD : Include raw foods in your diet like fresh fruits , vegetables , salads and items that are rich in water content . avoid processed or pre packaged food items.
3. HOT WATER BATHS : hot water bath really helps in relieving constipation .
fill in you tub with warm water and sit in it for a couple minutes . you will surely experience relief in sometime.
4. WHITE PUMPKIN JUICE : blend white pumpkin and sieve its pulp, pumpkin water will get separated . have one glass or 200 ml every morning on an empty stomache .everyday for 2 weeks . you will see changes in your digestion system and bowel movements. keep a 2 to 3 hour gap between having this juice and your breakfast.
5. TRIPHALA : As the name says, it is an Indian origin powder made with the combination of 3 natural herbs or fruits namely Bibhitaki, Amala and Haritaki . Have one teaspoon full with warm water at night before sleeping and you will feel great results in the morning . it can be taken in the day , but it works best taken at night just before sleeping .
tip : AVOID EATING ANYTHING AFTER CONSUMING .
